The sneaker game and the metaverse are slowly but surely colliding. With adidas, new Balance, and Nike all investing heavily into the virtual space, Sneakmart have just made their debut with the “Metakicks” NFT project. announced just today, here’s everything that we know so far!
Launching a total of 6,250 sneaker-inspired mystery boxes, there will be 15 unique designs and these will be split into four different categories, including “Epic”, “Super Rare”, “Rare”, and “Normal”. The value of your specific token will depend on which category it sits under. The NFTs will be auctioned via OpenSea and holders will also be able to get their hands on a selection of signed jerseys, sneakers, and VIP football matches.

On top of this, Sneakmart is celebrating this special occasion by giving participants the chance to win one of 625 physical sneakers. From Yeezy boost 350 V2s to Nike Dunks, there will also be four pairs of Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1s and a pair of Dior x Air Jordan 1 High.
