With his Air Jordan 4 set to launch this weekend, we’re now getting up close and personal with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Sail”! The follow up to the “Black” that dropped earlier this year, the American fashion designer actually gave us a very brief look of this clean cut colourway back in February when he nicknamed it the “Plot Twist”, and considering that then there’ve been a few pretty major tweaks.
Images courtesy of respectable sneaker insider @hanzuying, the “Sail” features a white and cream colour palette and is crafted from a series of translucent panels throughout. circular holes make their way to the ankle and lateral and medial sides, while Off-White’s signature deconstructed aesthetic comes by the way of technical verbiage and quoted text.

An oversized reflective tongue comes complete with a “Fire Red” Jumpman logo, and of course, the Nike Air midsole has now been painted in a stealthy black color compared to the cream unit that featured on the OG sample.
What’s there not to love about the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 5 “Sail”? Not much else is known about it at this moment in time, but we can expect it to drop before the end of the year. let us know what you think of this Swoosh collaboration, and in related news, a lot more release has surfaced for the Off-White x Nike Air force 1 “University Gold”!
